Over London On Da Track’s trademark bounce-filled production, Kayla sings about making her man work hard for affection. “Baby, show me what you’re gonna do for this,” she coos. “And I got my own, I never need it from him.”

Desiigner – Panda (Afrojack Remix)

Desiigner made a strong entrance into the rap scene in 2015 with “Panda,” whose ascension to the #1 spot in the Billboard Top 100 made him the second youngest to earn that title aside from Lorde. Seeing an opportunity to boost his relevance with a festival mix, Afrojack just dropped his edit of the clip on his SoundCloud.

The Dutch producer created a simplistic festival trap soundscape around the original, opting only to use a small clip of Desiigner’s verses in the beginning before inserting thundering bass and rolling drums and sharp synth melodies. The clip falls short in maintaining the caliber creativity present in “Panda,” but will likely be a hit in his sets this summer.

Piano stabs blend together with an irresistible dance floor-ready beat and swirling atmospheric sounds to create a kaleidoscopic backdrop for Paul’s strong and instantly recognizable vocals. Forget throwbacks – this remix takes things to a new place altogether.

Rihanna’s “Kiss It Better” is transformed by Montreal beatmaker, Kaytranada.

Kaytranada just dropped his debut album, 99.9% earlier this year, and while it found him collaborating with an impressive roster of like-minded artists, Rihanna was unfortunately not among them. Today, we’ve received the next best thing to an official collaboration, as the Montreal soundsmith tweaks Rih’s recent single, “Kiss It Better,” removing its synthesized, Prince-like guitar, and replacing it with deep grooves, pushing Rih’s tenor into a higher register in the process. It’s the perfect dancehall-ready companion piece to the original, and could possibly appear on his upcoming mixtape, 0.01%, which is expected to drop in the near future. Do we need Rihanna and Kay in the studio together for R9?
